It’s a boy!! After about 9 hours of labor (with no epidural, I might add!), Samuel joined our family at 6:16 pm on Saturday, August 30. We are absolutely thrilled with our little boy. He’s strong and healthy, and seems to be a pretty content little baby. I’m recovering well, these things take a little time. The girls love their brother, and we’re just having to watch closely to protect him from Elisabeth’s fascination with him. Clay took today off, too, and will be back to the daily grind tomorrow. We’re really glad to have Nanny with us for a little while so that we can figure out our new normal. Thanks for all your prayers! We appreciate them. Looking forward to bringing him to Kentucky to meet the rest of you!
Another special blessing from the LORD. sooo thankful that we got to celebrate with you all at his safe arrival. Praying for you and your “new normal”… seems that is the story of life… always a “new normal” and what a special time of new normal this is:) love you each one bunches and bunches.
